Justin Bieber has been increasingly open about his faith recently, and this past week singer Justin Bieber once again shared his passion for Christ with concertgoers in Sydney, Australia.
The 23-year-old reportedly broadcasted his faith to fans attending his sold-out show by appearing on stage in a see through box with the words: “Mark my words Jesus loves you !!!”
Just Bieber’s faith has been making headlines in recent years because he has been so outspoken about it. In recent memory well known Pastor, Carl Lentz of Hillsong talked about the singer’s “emergency baptism” which took place in the middle of the night at NBA star Tyson Chandler’s house, in the bathtub.
In an interview with GQ and a Super Soul Sunday story that appeared on the OWN network, Lentz explained that, “It was probably one of the most special things I’ve been a part of.”
The “experience” included a 3 a.m. wake up call to Chandler after Lentz and Bieber had checked out four other previous locations, but they did not work out due to privacy concerns.
Chandler willingly offered up his apartment pool, which ended up being closed and then went to his second choice, his custom tub.
The story is reminiscent of Acts 8, when Philip preached the Gospel to an Ethiopian, who immediately wished to get baptized.
